Kids That Care Club (KTCC) – A Global Youth Empowerment Program
KTCC Uganda Youth are advocates for improving health in their communities.
The Kids That Care Club (KTCC) Global Youth Program, a division of the 501(c)(3) charitable organization Rose Academies, is a unique youth empowerment initiative designed to cultivate the next generation of global citizens and community advocates. KTCC mobilizes creative and active outlets to dismantle systemic health barriers and social stigmas, ultimately fostering stronger, more resilient communities.
The program’s core framework relies on three methodological pillars:
- Evidence-Based Strategy: The curriculum aligns directly with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the World Health Organization (WHO) / UNICEF Helping Adolescents Thrive (HAT) Strategy.
- Creative Advocacy: Members utilize music, dance, sports, and the performing arts to challenge local health inequities, champion gender equality, and protect human rights.
- Skill Cultivation: The initiative deliberately equips marginalized and vulnerable youth with essential leadership, citizenship, and core life skills.
