Kids That Care Club (KTCC) – Uganda Empowers Students at Alliance Secondary School with MHM Knowledge

This coming Menstrual Hygiene Day, KTCC-Uganda will hold its Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) Training Workshop at Alliance Secondary School where students will learn about menstruation, menstrual hygiene, and the opportunity to learn how to make reusable pads.

Activity Objectives

  • To increase awareness and understanding of menstrual health and hygiene.
  • To address myths, misconceptions, and stigma surrounding menstruation.
  • To equip students with practical skills to make and maintain reusable sanitary pads.
  • To promote confidence, dignity, and school participation among girls.

Commemorating #MenstrualHygieneDay provides an opportunity to deliver structured, age appropriate, and practical learning that empowers students to manage menstruation safely and confidently.
